Terms of Service
Effective: February 15, 2026
1. Agreement
By accessing or using BattleHarden ("the Service"), operated at battleharden.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
BattleHarden is an automated deep code analysis platform. The Service scans source code repositories you submit, identifies security vulnerabilities and code quality issues, and produces reports with remediation guidance.
The Service is provided "as is". Analysis results are automated findings, not professional security audits. You are responsible for evaluating and acting on any findings.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
One person or entity per account. Accounts are non-transferable.
4. Subscription Tiers and Payment
BattleHarden offers free and paid subscription tiers (Scout, Operator, Warfare). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. Prices are listed on the pricing page.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle.
- You may cancel at any time from your account settings or the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit repositories you do not own or have authorization to scan.
- Use the Service to attack, harm, or gain unauthorized access to other systems.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent, or disable any security or access controls of the Service.
- Resell, redistribute, or sublicense scan results without written permission.
- Use automated systems to abuse rate limits or overload infrastructure.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
6. Your Code and Data
You retain all ownership rights to code you submit for scanning. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your source code.
- Repository clones are created temporarily during scanning and deleted immediately after.
- Scan results (findings, reports, metadata) are stored to provide the Service and are deleted upon account deletion.
- We do not sell, share, or provide your source code to third parties.
- For private repositories, GitHub Personal Access Tokens are used in-memory during clone operations and are never persisted to disk or database.
7. Generated Fixes and Tests
Paid tiers receive auto-generated code patches and test files. These are generated specifically for your codebase and become your property once delivered. You are responsible for reviewing all generated code before applying it to production systems.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service identifies potential issues through automated analysis. We do not guarantee that all vulnerabilities will be found, or that all reported findings are true positives.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BattleHarden shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, all associated scan data is permanently removed. Active Stripe subscriptions are cancelled at the end of the current billing period.
We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination except in cases of abuse.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Warranty Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Without limiting the foregoing, we do not warrant that: (a) the Service will identify all security vulnerabilities in your code; (b) all findings reported by the Service are accurate or free from false positives; (c) the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; or (d) any auto-generated patches or tests are free from defects or suitable for production use without review.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BattleHarden, its operator, and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights; or (d) code you submit for scanning that you did not have authorization to submit.
BattleHarden will indemnify you against claims that the Service itself infringes a third party's intellectual property rights, provided you notify us promptly of any such claim and allow us to control the defense.
14. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between you and BattleHarden, we encourage you to first contact us at privacy@battleharden.dev to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. We will respond within 30 days.
If the dispute is not resolved through negotiation within 60 days, either party may elect to resolve the dispute through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in New Jersey, USA, and be conducted in English.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within the court's jurisdiction. You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New Jersey for any action arising under these Terms that is not subject to arbitration.
16. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, flood, power outage, internet or telecommunications failure, or cyberattacks. The affected party's obligations will be suspended for the duration of the force majeure event.
17. General Provisions
- Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and BattleHarden regarding the Service, and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
- No waiver. The failure of either party to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that party's right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
